is celebrated with gaiety & fervor all over the world on the 25th of
December every year. The festival is marked with caroling, feasting, and
gift giving which makes the festival all the more divine. Celebrated
with high spirits, the prayers & happiness encapsulates the entire
environment with high spirit. Though, the tradition to enliven &
mark the festivity differs from country to country. They vary in their
mode of celebration, dates and in traditions. Though, the spirit to
experience the festival is still the same.
Such as in the case of the Christmas flower which is known by varied
names in distinct countries. Like as a poinsettia in United States,
while it's referred to as a white rose in the British Isles. The
Christmas gifts too are given on different occasions either on the
Christmas day in Britain or its gifted on new year in many other
countries of the globe. The festival celebration as well varies in its
days to mark the festivity. Either it prolongs for a month or for a
week, though, the importance of the auspicious event never lacks in any
which way. In case of a month long festival, it generally starts with
the Advent on Sunday next to November 26 & ends on January 6 with
the feast of Epiphany.
Christmas is the only festival for the Christians considered as the
most golden time period to honor the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. Basking
in the glory, people indulge in all fun activities spreading enthusiasm,
love, affection, thus, acknowledging peace & prosperity globally.
